Exploration Field Program

Communication between field personnel and our client is critical to the success of an exploration program.

Before the commencement of an exploration program a set of reasonable targets are set to ensure the success of the program. Targets are established using baselines from historical activities and understanding what equipment and personnel are required to reach these targets. While in the field we provide you the client critical reports which detail the events that have taken place on your tenement.

Every exploration field program includes three days of in office work preparing critical documents for the upcoming program.

• Travel & emergency management plan.
• Heritage awareness document. Topographic map of tenement location within determination area and any nearby landmarks or formations, including rivers, ranges, roads, tracks etc. Superimpose any existing registered sites from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs’ register over or near your tenement.
• Tenement review on all available publicly accessible documentation including but not limited to summary on annual reports, drilling, soil & rock chip sampling, heritage survey work conducted and a review of open source geophysical data available.
• Your tenement superimposed over satellite imagery of the area.
• Your tenement superimposed over geological maps of the area.

Onsite reports sent daily to our clients detail events which have taken place over the last 24 hours. Data and field interpretations can be relayed real time to clients to make project critical decisions.

• Daily prestart meeting notes
  • Agreed proposed activities between contactors and client.
  • Reiterating health and safety protocols.
  • Identifying potential hazards and hazard mitigation.
  • Awareness of registered heritage sites within the project location.
  • Daily accomplishment goals.

• Reiterating pastoral lease code of conduct review.
• Daily onsite drill logs sent to the client to document daily drilling activities to verify or contest drill costs during invoicing. The drill log could include breakdowns, duration and reason. Details on lost gear, meters drilled, working time and drilling time.
• Geological log and field interpretations sent nightly.
• Post-work summary of daily activities sent nightly
• The exploration program addons
• Vehicle selected for hire will depend on road conditions and location. Generally we use a dual cab hilux with a long range fuel tank, recovery gear and 3 spare tyres along with a full toolbox.
